M.V. MAKRUZZ is a pioneering venture of MAK Logistics Pvt. Ltd. which aims to provide a luxurious and personalized service to our guests, who would, apart from having an opportunity to visit the most sought after destination of Havelock, be able to cruise the waters of Andaman Sea in comfort aboard our flag-ship, M.V. MAKRUZZ, a luxury passenger day cruise vessel between Port Blair and Havelock.
Director MAK LOGISTICS had started out as MAK Lines in 2003 with the acquisition of 2 vessels by 3 young entrepreneurs Mohamed H Jadwet, Ashok CS, and Krishnendu Kundu. MAK Lines was converted to MAK LOGISTICS (P) Ltd. on 4th May 2007. The Company employs vessels in time, freight and voyage charter for operations in and around Indian Coast and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The Company currently owns three cargo vessels viz., M.V. Bhoruka Prabhu (1229DWT), M.V. Tara Kiran (710DWT), and M.V. Maanav Star (2099DWT). These vessels regularly ply between Port Blair and Nicobar group of islands carrying construction material, essential commodities, petroleum products, heavy machinery, vehicles, other miscellaneous items and even elephants for government departments as well as private firms.
